Never, in my nearly 65 years of life, have I found so much wrong with the world.
Oh, yes, there have been times of worry, times of concern, times of outrage, times of grief. But never, ever has there been so much wrong with everything.
My late father was a child of the Depression and a member of the Navy in the Second World War. He contracted Tuberculosis, had, albeit mild, Polio, went to Hiroshima with the Forces and never once did I hear him say in his 89 years that he was afraid.
If he had been alive and with us today, I would have to say that he would have been afraid. Very afraid indeed.

How many of us are thinking of making a run for the hills? Or, as the Americans would say, about to get a fast stage out of Dodge. Will we be forced to ask ourselves what we will do? Try to hide, or stand and fight?
This Lockdown and removal of our Liberty is sure happening fast, and that is one hell of an alarm bell for me.
Australia is probably the Jewel in the Crown as far as the world is concerned. A rich Continent and - man - it is rich.
Australia is one of the only - if not the only - Nations in the world that is capable of self sufficiency.
Think about that my friends. Think about that.
Yes, Australia can make a Nuclear Bomb, a lithium battery, a wind turbine, a bridge, a building, ANYTHING.
Only ... we don't.
Is Federalism dead?
The United States of America and Australia both embrace Federalism. The idea that we are part of the One yet still part of another subgroup.
I have always proudly declared myself a Queenslander. An Australian? I have never really come to terms with that. My home is Queensland and my identity is as a Queenslander. I have never followed AFL nor have I ever had a desire to venture across the border in to the foreign territory that is New South Wales or elsewhere.
I am a banana bender, proud and true and I like my way of life. Oh, forget Brisvegas… those people are not Queenslanders. They are urbanites who could live in any city in any state or any country in the world. They march to the drum of popular socialism and inclusivity. They drink from the cup of decaffeinated coffee, soy lattes and kale shakes. Where I come from, we still drink beer, toast our mates, laugh at jokes that are probably piss poor as far as the leftie luvvies are concerned and we stand by our mates.
It is becoming very troubling - I am hearing concerns from people who are employers where there is this new sense of " entitlement " from people who are exploiting the new grandiose of the State.
Expecting more and more for doing less and less.
This division that has been created where the have nots are demanding from the haves is something I worry will not be easily reversed. I heard one employer saying that they are looking at firing everyone and going back to being a sole trader - would probably earn more money with less stress.
Quite some years ago I worked in a prison. A Maximum Security Male Prison. As a female Officer, I had this crazy idea that I could make a difference.
It was a new prison. State of the Art. A wonder of technology.
Before the prison actually opened, we arrived at work and were greeted with the announcement that we were to be separated into two groups for training purposes. Half of us were to be Prison Officers and the other half would be prisoners.
And that day changed my life. I became a prisoner. For ONE DAY.

To all you housebound parents out there around the world, here is something to enjoy with your little ones.
In these sad times, it is so important to keep the children's dreams alive.
As someone who speaks with Fairies, I can assure you that the Tooth Fairy is still working, as is the Easter Bunny. Magic happens everywhere and goodness, wonder and delight can be found alive and well throughout the world. All we need do is look to our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, for the joy in the simplicity of delight to be found in such timeless heroes. Fairies are part of my Manx heritage so it is not be be treated lightly that you have my assurance that the Tooth Fairies are still flying around the world doing a great job. They tell me that the Easter Bunny is also ready for a bumper Easter Egg day. But they asked me to remind the children to brush their teeth and not get carried away with too many goodies from the Bunny basket.
Enjoy!
How to climb out of the Covid-19 Pandemic quickly and efficiently based on the mitigation of risk by ‘like-minded’ societies.
We all know that the Asian region, engages in practices of the most vile, barbaric and inhumane treatment of small wild animals.
These so called ‘ wet-markets ’ rampant throughout China and South East Asia, refer to the exploitation of small exotic animals and are a code word for ‘blood markets,’ the most inhumane treatment of small terrified animals on the face of the earth. Totally abhorrent to those of us who are used to treating animals with dignity and respect, who have rights and feelings, just as we do.
A REAL new civilized world order must be instituted. You are either part of the civilized world or not part of the civilized world. Your country will be ostracized if you choose not to join the civilized world. Travel will not be tolerated to the civilized world.

Well, as a great supporter of Cardinal Pell, I am delighted that Justice has finally been served. Back in August of last year, I wrote an article about this miscarriage of justice, and I have never wavered from my belief that he was stitched up because he was uncovering dirt in the Vatican finances. He had to be silenced and the easiest way to do that was to accuse him of being a pedophile. Job done.
With the mood of the general public heavily in favour of believing the accuser rather than the accused, all semblance of the rule of Law was thrown out the window and " reasonable doubt " became " reasonable cause."
We are pretty much all out of work. We are all confined to our homes or beds by the invisible enemy with the most expensive & disruptive name in recent history – “Covid-19” – one that has world changing implications. Truly a Force Majeur of epic proportions. But having said that NZ made a bold call . We are an island nation and time is of the essence.
China is coming out of this with an amazing force of their own and buying up many stocks at bargain basement prices, or so I hear. I read a book called the “Next 100 years”, written by George Friedman, he said back in the early 2000’s that China would start fragmenting in 2020. Says it right on the cover. Will be interesting to see what happens?
I guess every cloud has a silver-lining if you know how to play the game. It makes me wonder what are the benefits of all this, if there could be any?
