Sometimes, history is our best teacher. Perhaps that is why the left want to stop it being taught?
Babies born in the late 1950's and early 1960's suffered the effects of the drug thalidomide that their mothers had taken for morning sickness, depression or anxiety.
Back then, it was a mother's choice. Today, having the covid " vaccination " is not only encouraged - it is increasingly mandatory if you wish to travel or continue to work whilst expecting your little one. One woman saved America's children from thalidomide. That woman was Frances Oldham Kelsey.

One of the first known cases of Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) “vaccine” adverse effects being passed down from mother to baby has come to light, demonstrating the dangers of the shots for women who are or who later decide to get pregnant while being “fully vaccinated.”
Little Zack Reilly is now missing an arm, reports indicate, after it had to be amputated almost immediately after his birth when it was discovered that the child had developed blood clots in both his now-removed left arm as well as his brain.
I miss the 10 Commandments.
And I can assure you that the way the West is going, the 10 Commandments will be banned and that they will be replaced by ONE COMMANDMENT:
DO AS YOU ARE TOLD.
And the entity in charge will not be a kind master. The problem is, I fear it has already happened.
You may already know me. I am a simple yellow wood pencil. I have already recounted to you the wonder and amazement of my genealogy.
From the mines of Sri Lanka to the forests of California, my lineage is anything but linear – it is instead a complex global collaboration to bring my constituent parts together. I trust you know this tale well and do not need me to restate it here today.
Today, I learned that being a wonder with a hammer and a nail is not all it is cracked up to be.
Especially when it comes to flatpack.
Some people are good at flatpack and some.. well, maybe not.
Let me explain.
Speaking to a group of disability advocates, and wanting to be thoughtful of those who were blind or vision impaired, Vice President Kamala Harris began her talk by saying, “I am Kamala Harris, my pronouns are she and her, I am a woman sitting at the table wearing a blue suit.” But what, exactly, did she mean by those words? What, after all, is a woman? And what do we learn about Harris from her preferred gender pronouns?
In raising these questions, my purpose is not to mock the Vice President. Rather, it is to mock the cultural madness that set the stage for her comments. We must not become accustomed to this social insanity!

It happens to all of us, the day our beloved husband or wife departs to Heavenly fields. What do we do to fill the gap. What do we do to replace a beloved Cat or Dog. My husband of 65 years has gone and just recently I lost not only my old cat but also my 17 year old Jack Russell. When you live alone you have to have someone to talk to, someone who you have to look after. So I did what I have done before I looked up the RSPCA web site.
Like all children, one of the first things I learned is that parents were putty in our hands. Even at a very young age, we realised that being cute and batting our eyelids can perform miracles.
From the time we were in the cradle, we quickly spotted that a coo or a little smile; a chubby little hand reaching out to touch them; a cry or whimper ; all would achieve the intended result: we would be held, comforted and fussed over.
Job done.

I know, you’re probably sick and tired of hearing about the Rise of the New Normal Reich. You want it to be over. So do I. It isn’t over … not by a long shot. It might seem like it’s over where you are.
I imagine it does if you live in Florida, or in Texas, or the UK, or Sweden, or Croatia, or in some other country or state in which the majority of the “Covid restrictions” have been lifted, or perhaps were never introduced in the first place. If that’s the case, I’m happy for you.
Never in a million years ( as the saying goes) did I ever imagine that we would be witnessing the rapid death of a once truly lucky country. We considered ourselves lucky to call it home. Lucky to enjoy its bounty of food, natural resources, freedom and thousands of miles of sandy beaches and pristine coastline.
In less than 3 years, we have descended into a hell on earth that little resembles that nation we loved, felt enormous pride to be part of and an almost arrogant smugness at declaring ourselves under its bounteous protection and wealth.
What the hell have we allowed to happen? How did we let it happen? Who stole it from us? When did the rot set in? Why did we allow it to happen?
Fears of a virus from China had been rising for two months in the spring of 2020. The White House under Donald Trump had already weathered two impeachment crises and was turning its attention toward reelection in November, which seemed assured. The virus was an enormously complicating factor.
Trump surrounded himself with a small team of people among whom included supposed infectious disease experts such as Anthony Fauci from the National Institutes of Health and Deborah Birx of the Centers for Disease Control. On the recommendation of his vice president and son-in-law, Trump trusted them.
