The type of vaccine being developed against the virus has never – outside of Ebola – been used before. The trials have been extremely rushed & involved testing only small numbers. What could possibly go wrong?
Since the first positive results on vaccines have come out, a lot of people have asked me if I think everyone should take them? For some reason, a number of people out there trust my judgement on such things.
Gazing at the recent eclipse of the moon, I was minded of the magnitude of Creation and my forthcoming interview with the Big Guy upstairs, at which I will have a lot of explaining to do. The following passed through my mind.
My decadent indulgence is a big cream stick doughnut, with lashings of homemade strawberry jam and enough cream to drown out any guilt that I should have felt for having dared to challenge my body’s right to have an opinion on the matter.
I buy two – one for me and one for my Mum. We sit in the sunroom, Royal Albert teacups in hand, serviettes at the ready and our toes curled up in unison as we delight in our guilty pleasure. It is a lovely wicked indulgence and I have tried to feel bad about it. I truly have. But I don’t care. For about 10 minutes, once a month, we sit there laughing smiling, oohing and aahing about a cream doughnut that makes us forget all the nasty in the world, all the PC rubbish, all the political treason and the misery that is modern-day life.

In 1935 Essington Lewis, the then managing director of BHP, returning from a trip to Europe, concluded that war was inevitable and was concerned at Australia’s lack of manufacturing industries that could sustain us should we be cut off from our traditional lines of supply.
He mounted a campaign to persuade the government to establish an aircraft industry to manufacture planes and aircraft engines. The government readily agreed and the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) was formed as a Joint venture between BHP, ICIANZ, GMH, Orient Steam Navigation Co and Electrolytic Zinc Corp, all major Australian companies.
Many of you have met Mrs Dodger.
She is a sneaky little bugger. She has lived with me all my married life and she has the ability to know what I am thinking and what I am feeling and I love her to bits.
Only lately, she tends to be more sneaky. But I love her and she is my rock. Why do I love her so much? Because she had dementia? No. Because she is my wife.
Bombs are falling, missiles are flying, and people are dying in the Middle East. As I write this, over 4,100 rockets have fallen on Israel from the “Palestinians” in Gaza and Lebanon. The long-range rockets that can hit Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and the Ben-Gurion Airport originated in Iran, which is the origin of the rocket technology.
Biden and what’s-her-name Harris have managed to destroy our economy, terrorize everyone with unproven vaccines (not safe and effective but dirty and dangerous), and destroyed the relative peace in the Middle East. The Hill opined, “Just over 100 days into office, President Joe Biden has drawn America’s enemies — Iran and its terror proxies — close to the U.S. administration, all while distancing from U.S. allies Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the peacemaking Gulf Arab states.”
The obvious is—well—obvious that Biden and Company are worthless, gutless, mindless, spineless, and toothless. Of course, I may be wrong since I don’t know if they are toothless.

No flights unless you have a vaccination Passport? No job unless you have been given the Jab? No admission to certain shops, public transport or public places unless you have been vaccinated?
It seems to me that the real global pandemic we are facing is a global pandemic of stupidity and blind faith in leaders who have, so far, hardly shown that they are acting and reacting in a manner that is based on commonsense and is more suggestive of so called " health experts " ruling our countries and our leaders are, yet again, asleep at the wheel.
Perhaps today, more than ever, we are being confronted with a barrage of injustices that challenge our ability to cope. As individuals and as a society. So much is making us angry, frustrated and wanting to cry out with indignation " it's not fair! "
One calamity after another.... like living through a constant attack on our senses and our sense of fair play and justice.
Many people around the world are at an emotional breaking point.
In centuries past, life was unfair for just about everyone. Even a King or Queen who seemingly wielded unlimited power soon discovered that you could lose your head if you upset the wrong people. Taking sides was a dangerous affair, particularly if you happened to pick the wrong side. Rewards could be great - a new estate, riches and wealth beyond imaginings. But if you backed the wrong team, you could lose everything, including your life.

A passport was once highly valued by travellers, but not compulsory. Signed by the sovereign, it said: “The bearer of this passport has my protection. He is free to travel anywhere. Do not pester him (or her).”
